Are you on Medicare? If so, ask your Dr about ordering in home care.

The insurance Fraud you need to contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and your state's Insurance Fraud Bureau.

For the car accident, what is your car insurance company doing for you? They should be working with the other driver's insurance. Who was found at fault. Call your office of aging and see if they have a number for Legal Aide. If so, you should be charged by scale.

You signed up to a forum of caregivers to elderly loved ones from around the world here at Agingcare.

I suggest you call a personal injury attorney in your area.

Good luck to you.

PS.....your healh insurance is not a "fraud" because they won't send you a home care "sitter" for 4-6 weeks! I know of no health insurance plan that sends home health care workers out for extended periods of time for any reason. That cost to hire one is on you.
